i was curious today, and went back to the a&e website to see if they had any new information on bruce. check out the update from episode one.
it is a blessing that he is doing so well - praise God for random 1. i still feel awful; i can't believe that for as many times as i drove by him, i never did anything. but i feel a new call and inspiration to action. helping people doesn't have to be rational, i've decided. it doesn't have to run through all of the steps of logical and rational reasoning in your brain. helping others is answering a call from the God who works beyond our own conception and understanding.
You have a great taste in poets. Give Mark Doty, Joseph Brodsky (he was the first Russian to be made poet laureate of the US, he came to america, got his check, and left without doing anything, classic!!!), and Lucille Clifton.
