Just in case I have any Chicago-area readers...
Loyola University Chicago is sponsoring a one-day social justice conference at the end of February, entitled "A Calling to Justice." As it turns out, I'm one of the presenters! I'll be hosting a workshop on immigration and hospitality, with the story as Rahab and the spies in Joshua 2 as the focus of my research. (I'm supposed to be finishing up the paper for this as I write...yay for procrastination!) So browse the flyer, follow the email address provided for more information or to register (registration is $25), and keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I prepare for this!
