...I was at LOMC with our confirmation kids, on a weekend retreat led by Peder Eide. It was excellent for many reasons - great faith formation, great relationship building, great outdoorsy and campy fun - and I can't wait to get back to such a wonderful place as LOMC. One of the fun parts of the weekend is when our group had time alone with Peder, during which he put himself up to the task of writing a song on the spot using words/phrases that we gave him. This is what we gave him: orange, blobfish, surfin' on the waves of Jesus, Emily Johnson (a girl in our group), hot chocolate, and St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
